DJ Charles is a creative and energetic wedding DJ in Des Moines, Iowa, bringing a modern, club-inspired atmosphere to weddings and private events. His love for music started early, shaped by his parents’ influence and a steady diet of classic ’70s and ’80s music while growing up in Utah. Since then, Charles has continually explored new sounds and genres, developing a deep appreciation for music across generations.

That passion eventually led him into music production, where he creates original tracks under the name BerserkerCrux, specializing in wave-style EDM. While continuing to grow as a producer, Charles found his way into the private event and wedding DJ world as a way to stay immersed in music while sharing his energy with live audiences.

Shortly after making that decision, Charles connected with JM3 DJs & Productions, where his club-forward style and technical skills became a natural fit. Today, DJ Charles focuses exclusively on weddings in Des Moines, IA, delivering high-energy dance floors, clean transitions, and an elevated party atmosphere that keeps guests engaged all night long.

HIGHLIGHTS

We had an absolutely amazing experience with DJ Berserker Chase! His transitions between songs kept the energy high all night, and he knew exactly when to slow things down with the perfect love songs. Our guest of all ages stayed out on the dance floor from the beginning to end of the night. From our ceremony to the reception, he was incredible and kept everything running smoothly. We truly couldn't imagine anyone else as our DJ. He exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend him!

From the moment we connected with JM3 the vibes were absolutely immaculate. They were easy to work with and turned what could've been a stressful planning process into something genuinely fun and enjoyable, we must highlight that the platform they use to get to know the couple felt more like a couple's game than another task we had to get ready for the big day. Every conversation prior the wedding felt relaxed, collaborative and full of good vibes. On the wedding day, the second the reception started, he had everyone out in the dance floor and that is the way it stayed for 6+ hours. Transitions were flawless, mixes impeccable, and everybody had a blast. Guest were having a great time the whole night. If you are looking for a DJ who brings professionalism, personality, and good vibes, these are the guys you are looking for. We had a great experience working with JM3 DJs for our June 2026 wedding! Chase J. (the DJ not the owner as there are two) was so friendly, positive, and personable. He asked us a lot of questions to ensure our needs and vision were executed. We had multiple complements given about the quality of the sound at the ceremony and the music at the reception (as Chase did both for us). He was easy to work with and everyone was very communicative throughout the whole process. Communication at the beginning of the process with Chase Martin (the owner) was also super positive and he answered our initial questions and gave us great insight. We would work with JM3 DJs again in the future for sure!
